chihiro butterfly is a vocalist, pianist, songwriter and composer from Sendai, Japan who has released two solo albums among others and has also written for and appeared on television.

H. Wakabayashi is a singer-songwriter, composer and video artist. As a multi-instrumentalist he works in pop, ambient, film music and also as pianist for The Mighty Terns. After working as a MIDI programmer and film composer, he now belongs to a new generation of Japanese musicians who have taken up acoustic music again. The music of Hidekazu represents beautiful intimacy and delicacy, flowing among a passage of emotional and pastoral moments with melodies and elements slightly influenced by Japanese traditional music.

The pair has collaborated on numerous projects including chihiro butterfly's "After 3.11" released on Accretions.
