Last autumn, Sunmin and I agreed to hold the closing concert on the last day of her exhibition, Architecture of Mushroom.
Mushroom! Music!
Naturally, John Cage (Inspirational musician and also a mushroom expert) popped into my head. And the music score of my composition called (John in the)cage was on my piano at the moment. So I decided to play it at the concert. And I was thinking, “hmm, it would be nice if I finished the concert with a simple melody!” My dear friend Nate Wooly’s music titled Hazel was right next to the (John in the)cage score. So I finalized the program playing these 2 pieces together.

It was just magical like that! I enjoyed the whole process and of course, I really had fun to play with Haeun and Myoungsil!!! I want to celebrate and remember this music! That is the reason of this release.
